Mermaid Medical Group is looking for a Biomechanical Engineer
Would you like to work with a broad range of engineering tasks in a healthy growing company? Then you might be the person we are looking for in our R&D and production department, working with medical devices.
Mermaid Medical Group is expanding, introducing new products and entering into new markets. We recently acquired a new vascular product from an American company and to implement this product in our product range, we will need a skilled production engineer who can be a key player in this process in close cooperation with competent and experienced colleagues.
This, along with a multitude of other engineering tasks, will be a part of your working day in Mermaid Medical.
As Biomechanical Engineer, you get a busy and varied workday with own responsibilities and good development opportunities. You will be part of a company with 50 committed colleagues, of whom 20 are located at our head office in Stenløse, Denmark.
You will report to our R&D and Technical Manager, Kenneth Vig Knudsen.

Tasks and responsibilities
If you have the knowledge and experience with some of the below mentioned tasks, then you might be the candidate we are looking for:
- Process development and ongoing optimization in production.
- Participate or lead Design Control disciplines.
- Create technical documentation/product file
- Developing and writing protocols and reports in general.
- Perform product tests.
- Perform re-qualification (verification/validation) of products, processes and equipment.
- Technical support to the sales, production and quality departments.
The ideal candidate
- Experience with Medical Devices development and production.
- Knowledge within the biomechanical field
- Mechanical or biomedical education
- Innovative systematic problem solver
- Experience with CAD programs (SolidWorks, Inventor)
