EstaCore® Disposable Biopsy Instrument

The Automatic Disposable Biopsy instrument is a lightweight and easily manoeuvered device. The ergonomic design allows for ease of use along with comfort and control. The disposable biopsy instrument has a two-stage arming which may be operated with one hand only. The two high speed firing buttons ensure quick and complete sample retrieval. Colour coding promotes accurate needle gauge identification.

Instructions
1. Pull the button #1 backwards firmly.
2. Pull the button#2 backwards firmly.Introduce the needle into thepatient and advance it to the biopsy site.
3. Push any of the firing buttons located in the rear end or side part of the needle body to fire. Draw needle out. Pull button #1 back to expose the specimen notch and remove the biopsy specimen.

The disposable biopsy instrument has a two-stage arming which may be operated with one hand only. The two high speed firing buttons ensure quick and complete sample retrieval. Colour coding promotes accurate needle gauge identification.

Instructions for use
1. Set advancement & sample notch length (1cm or 2cm)
2. Pull the button #1 backwards firmly
3. Pull the button #2 backwards firmly
4. Introduce the needle into the patient and advance it to the biopsy site. When the needle reaches the desired position press the safety button.
5. Push any of the firing buttons located in the rear end or side part of the needle body to fire. Draw needle out. Pull button #1 back to expose the specimen notch and remove the biopsy specimen.

The M•Biopsy® Semi-Automatic spring loaded biopsy needle is a compact, lightweight disposable semi automatic biopsy instrument with two throw lengths and an echogenic spring loaded biopsy needle. Optional tailored coaxial introducer needle available single packed (N302) or as a set solution (NS301)

Clinical Application
Multiple core sampling from soft tissue such as the liver, kidney,
prostate and breast.
